Aubrey Plaza's new crime film is coming out on Netflix! After making its premiere in theaters in August, we finally have a Netflix release date.

Emily the Criminal Release Date
Netflix has signed a deal with Roadside Attractions or Vertical Entertainment for the film, Emily the Criminal. But outside the US, the film is exclusively distributed by Universal Pictures. This means that most regions will be able to stream the film in the coming months, but not the same as the US release date on Netflix.
Netflix will be streaming Emily the Criminal starting December 7, 2022. This is almost four months since the film made its premiere in theaters in the US.
What Is Emily the Criminal Story About?
Just like the title says, Emily the Criminal is a crime drama about a woman named Emily (played by Aubrey Plaza) who is having debt problems. Sensing her desperation for some extra cash, a co-worker connects Emily with an acquaintance to be a "dummy shopper." As it turns out, this is a credit card scam.
Emily starts making some extra money but soon learns that the black market is without deadly consequences.
