The MonsterVerse continues to grow as more new Kaiju stories get added to its catalog. Now, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is ready to make waves this November 2023, an Apple TV+ series bringing together the classic Kaijus on the small screen. But before that happens, here's what to watch before the series comes out.
Is Monarch: Legacy of Monsters a Part of the MonsterVerse Timeline?
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is a part of the canon timeline in the MonsterVerse. As it so happens, the series takes place on a lot of the timeline, but for now, upon its premiere, the Apple TV+ show takes place in the 1950s:
...Clues lead them into the world of monsters and ultimately down the rabbit hole to Army officer Lee Shaw (played by Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell), taking place in the 1950s and half a century later where Monarch is threatened by what Shaw knows. The dramatic saga - spanning three generations - reveals buried secrets and the ways that epic, earth-shattering events can reverberate through our lives.

Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Fransisco, and the shocking revelation that monsters are real, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters tracks two siblings following in their father's footsteps to uncover their family's connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch.
Not to mention, the series will be bringing back the old Kaijus we've already seen in the previous movies and series, which includes Mother Longlegs, for example, the same bamboo-legged spider from 2017's Kong: Skull Island.
