If there is one character in The Addams Family that we don't truly get to understand completely, it would definitely be Gomez Addams. In Wednesday, the patriarch of the family is played by Luis Guzmán. We can't help but wonder what kind of outcast or monster Addams is.

Simply put, Gomez Addams is not a monster in Wednesday. He is simply a weird person, like much of his family.

The show, however, reveals that Gomez has a powerful ancestor named Goody Addams. Gomez, on the other hand, is a normie outcast who comes from a line composed of psychics, warlocks, and witches.

The character of Gomez has long been depicted as a hopeless romantic who is deeply infatuated with his wife, Morticia. He comes from Mexican heritage, a language he uses to express his devotion to her by kissing her hand and saying "Cara mia!"

As a father, he is deeply loved by his kids, Wednesday and Pugsley. They enjoy going fishing with the use of grenades and fencing with him. Gomez also enjoys fencing with his brother, Fester Addams.
