The Consultant is a thrilling series that was released on Amazon Prime Video last February 24. The show has been likened to Most Deadliest Game and The Purge.
Christoph Waltz stars in the show as Regus Patoff, a third-party consultant, who was brought in to help a popular tech company figure out how it can boost its sales after the death of its CEO. Weirdly, Regus was hired by the CEO before he committed suicide.
But Regus isn't like other consultants. He's efficient at his job because of his methods-- and part of that is to impose a strict one-hour policy to get all those working remotely back into the office. If they don't, they get fired. And not only that, he pushes the employees to their limits to see how dedicated they are to their jobs.
These methods, however, don't sit well with the employees. It is up to them to figure out how to get rid of the consultant before they lose their minds.
