The upcoming sixth episode of What If...? Season 2 will introduce a new original superhero in the MCU named Kahhori, a young Mohawk woman who became superpowered after discovering a Tesseract that crash-landed in the Haudenosaunee Confederacy in pre-colonial America.
Fans have been curious about the episode ever since it was announced since it will be the first time that the series will focus on a character that has never been introduced before in the MCU.
It is also going to be significant historically for the franchise since the entire episode will be in the Mohawk language, and Marvel Studios worked with members of the Mohawk Nation to ensure cultural authenticity.

Devery Jacobs to Voice Kahhori in What If...? Season 2
The official Instagram account of Marvel Studios Canada confirmed that Devery Jacobs is voicing Kahhori in the upcoming sixth episode of the second season of What If...?
It won't be Jacobs' first MCU role since she is also playing a character named Bonnie in the upcoming series Echo.
Just like the character, Jacobs is also a Mohawk woman, which adds to more authenticity and representation of the community.
However, there is no indication that the actress' two MCU characters are connected or variants of one another.
Since she is only doing voice work for Kahhori, it shouldn't cause any confusion when we see her in live-action on Echo.
It is exciting to see what they have in store for the character's MCU debut since it is the very first time that the franchise has introduced an original superhero.
If the fans respond to it well, they might explore more of her in the future.
One of the trailers has also hinted that the sixth episode won't be Kahhori's only appearance in the new season as she is seen fighting Thanos alongside Captain Carter, which suggests that we will see more of her beyond her debut.
New episodes of What If...? Season 2 premiere every day on Disney+ until December 30.
