What Daisy Ridley Could Look Like as Marvel’s Spider-Woman

For the past few weeks, the rumor mill has been churning out various reports about Spider-Woman. Some reports have been suggesting that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige wants the hero to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Other reports have been suggesting that Sony may develop a feature film based on Jessica Drew.

While Marvel and Sony have yet to confirm and deny these reports, Spider-Woman continues to dominate the pop culture conversation with fans throwing around names of actresses that they feel would be a great fit for Spider-Woman.

While Tomb Raider actress Alicia Vikander has been a popular choice, it seems like Marvel fans have begun considering Star Wars sequel trilogy actress Daisy Ridley for the role.

Now, it looks like we've gotten fan art of Ridley as Jessica Drew. Taking to Reddit, a Marvel fan going by the name dylen_draws decided to share a painting of the Star Wars actress as Spider-Man.

A lot of Marvel fans seem to like the idea of having Ridley as the new Spider-Woman. The actress did a pretty great job playing the Jakku Orphan Rey in Disney's Star Wars sequel trilogy. Her training as a Jedi would probably help her with all the work she'd have to do as an actress playing a superhero for the MCU.

To the uninitiated, Spider-Woman is a hero originally intended as a one-off character for Marvel. Genetically enhanced and given super-powers by HYDRA, Jessica Drew became an assassin only to reform and turn into an agent of SHIELD.
