Westworld Season 3 Teaser Offers A Glimpse At Aaron Paul And The Future World

Amidst the chaos over the series finale of Game of Thrones, HBO quietly unveiled the first teaser for Westworld Season 3. The reveal was perfectly timed right before the premiere of the GOT final episode and now the world knows that we are leaving the parks for the real world. And what a world it is.

The trailer opens with a man (Aaron Paul) telling us just how fake the world truly is. "Sometimes, it seems like the world looks alright. Like they put a coat of paint on it, but inside, it's rotting to pieces," he says as Pink Floyd's Brain Damage plays in the background. He looks like a regular working guy but his surroundings are certainly sleek and new, like the Chappie-looking robot he takes a break with.

We also get a glimpse at other new cast members Lena Waithe and Marshawn Lynch seemingly operating a heist with Paul's character. (On a personal note, I want Lynch's shirt in the scene). There's also a brief shot of Kid Cudi behind bars.

So what exactly are we looking at here? It looks nothing like what anyone would expect in the park. However, we later get a glimpse of a woman seemingly in distress. Paul's character approaches her asking if she needs help and it is revealed to be the host Dolores.

Watch out, the hosts are leaving the park and they are invading the real world of the future.

Westworld Season 3 (or simply Westworld III) has not yet been given an official release date. However, the series is expected to return to HBO in 2020.
