Westworld Season 2 Casts Wolverine Actor; Samuraiworld Confirmed?

With Game of Thrones nearing its end, HBO is looking for its next big hit with the show, Westworld. The second season is expected to come out next year, and a new actor has just been cast in the show.

According to IMDb, Hiroyuki Sanada (Speed Racer, Wolverine, Rush Hour 3) has joined the cast as the character Musashi. No further descriptions have been given about the role, but counting that the end of the first season of WW did tease us a "Samuraiworld," Musashi could either be one of the hosts in the new world or a major contributor to the project from the real world.

Besides Sanada, Westworld 2 has also cast Gustaf Skarsgard (Vikings), Betty Gabriel (The Purge: Election Year), and Fares Fares (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story).

The first season of Westworld was amazing, and it could very well be a substitute to GoT what with its story, writing, production, and gratuitous amounts of nudity. Not to mention, both series got rid of their most famous actor (Sean Bean/Anthony Hopkins) near the end of the first season. Talk about parallelism.

No specific release date has been released, but expect Westworld 2 to hit HBO spring of 2018.
