While the anime’s third season ended earlier this year, fans have more to look forward to as Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun is getting two spinoff manga titles, one of which features a fan-favorite character.

The new spinoffs were announced via the manga’s official Twitter account.

There, it was revealed that these new manga will begin later this year, giving fans something to read alongside the ongoing main manga.

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun is a popular fantasy anime by Bandai Namco Pictures, and it is based on Osamu Nishi’s manga of the same name.

The Iruma-kun manga is still being serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion. Three years following its start, the series’ first spinoff manga was released.

Now, two more titles have been revealed, the first being a spinoff titled Mairimashita! Iruma-kun if Episode of Mafia.

As its name implies, this manga will have a mafia-inspired story and visuals.

While it’s not clear what exactly this spinoff will be about, it’s likely that this new spinoff will be set in an alternate universe.

This is because series creator Nishi previously shared mafia-inspired alternate universe illustrations.

What we can say for certain is that the spinoff will begin in the October issue of Bessatsu Shonen Champion which will be released on September 12.

Instead of being made by Osamu Nishi though, this upcoming Iruma-kun spinoff will be written by hiromono.

In case that’s not enough, there’s also another spinoff that will begin later this year, and it’s titled Mairimashita! Iruma-kun Kalego Gaiden (or Kalego Side Story in English).

As the title implies, this upcoming spinoff will star Naberius Kalego, Iruma’s homeroom teacher and familiar.

Given that he’s a fan-favorite character, it makes sense that this spinoff will be made by Nishi herself, and it will also be serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion.

This upcoming manga has no definite release date yet, but it is confirmed to begin sometime this winter.

However, this isn’t the first time that Nishi will write about Kalego as two chapters of Kalego Gaiden were released back in 2020.

While fans can look forward to these two spinoffs, there’s no word yet on official English release plans for them.

There’s also no word yet on whether the anime adaptation will be renewed for a fourth season.
