As a human, it is not surprising that Iruma does not have any magical powers. However, he was given the Ring of Gluttony which stores mana for future use and can only be used by humans or creatures without powers like him.
The Ring of Gluttony has given Iruma some abilities that make it seem like he has his own powers.
Does Iruma Ever Get Powers?
It is still a mystery whether Iruma will get powers or not in the series.
He depends greatly on the Ring of Gluttony for magical powers, but there were some loopholes that fans noticed throughout the show that could hint at Iruma having his own powers. Though he might not have activated them yet.
The first hint is that he was able to perform Sullivan’s forbidden spell and even summoned a familiar before he got the magic ring.
So, does this mean that he has innate magical abilities he can use even without the ring?
Another hint is that his blood has the ability to heal external wounds instantly.
It has not been confirmed if all humans have the same healing ability but fans have a theory that this might be related to why demons eat humans, or it could be linked to the Demon King’s prophecy.
He was also able to chant a spell of his own, called the Anti-Knock Over Spell, which prevents him from tripping or falling for a day.
These three instances gave fans the idea that maybe Iruma does have his own powers.
But until an official confirmation is provided or a new chapter reveals his abilities, fans of Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun can only speculate.

Is Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Worth Watching?
Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun is not a typical fantasy anime. The unconventional premise of Iruma pretending to be a demon and trying his best not to be caught – or worse, eaten – is enough reason for viewers to check it out.
Moreover, there are a lot of hilarious scenes and entertaining characters that complete the series. It also breaks the usual fantasy genre stereotype of having too much harem.
The series also has some mystery around it concerning the Demon Lord prophecy and the fact that Iruma might be the Demon Lord.
The manga and anime are still ongoing, with Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 3 slated to premiere in October 2022.
