Netflix unveiled the new trailer for the upcoming new Addams Family series Wednesday during its recent New York Comic-Con panel. The latest preview of the highly-anticipated new take on the iconic fictional family gave us an extended look at Wednesday Addams' new life at Nevermore Academy and the teachers and classmates that she'll meet as she embarks on a new chapter.
However, the main highlights of the new trailer are their official reveal of Saturday Night Live alum Fred Armisen's casting as Uncle Fester, who is sporting the character's iconic bald look, and the confirmation of franchise vet Christina Ricci's involvement in the series as she takes on the role of Marylin Thornhill, one of the teachers at Nevermore Academy.

It is exciting to see Ricci in the end part of the trailer since it marks her return to the franchise after playing Wednesday Addams herself back in the early '90s and it looks like it will be some sort of a "passing the baton" moment with her involvement. It is curious to see how her character will exactly play into the story of the series.
The series is "a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams' years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday's attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore."
Besides Armisen and Ricci, the cast also includes Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Gwendoline Christie, Luis Guzman, Isaac Ordonez, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Percy Hynes White, Hunter Doohan, Georgie Farmer, Moosa Mostafa, Emma Myers, Naomi J. Ogawa, Joy Sunday, Victor Dorobantu, and George Burcea.
