Wednesday continues to be one of the most talked-about shows on the planet and its unprecedented success in streaming has paved the way for its stars to become overnight sensations in Hollywood. But if you think the Jenna Ortega-led series has only generated buzz for a good reason, the hit Netflix show has been the subject of controversy the last couple of days thanks to one of its stars.

Percy Hynes White, who plays Xavier Thorpe, one of Wednesday Addams’ friends at the Nevermore Academy has received allegations of sexual assault from multiple "victims" who began surfacing recently. While attending school in Toronto, the rising star allegedly invited women whom he got high and drunk before sexually taking advantage of them.

The accusations also include Percy allegedly sending nude photos of himself to girls and calling them offensive and derogatory names. Since the issue blew up, Percy has done his best to block fans from spamming his social media with comments on his Instagram page being limited.

If that wasn't enough, the 21-year-old is facing another scandal for his concerning behavior on social media. On Instagram, the actor follows a page named "dieamerican" which turns out to be a White Supremacist and pro-gun account. Percy's Instagram likes also reveal that he's a fan of the Nazis. Yikes.

As it stands, Netflix and MGM have yet to address the matter but one would assume they're already investigating the issue. If the accusations thrown at White get proven, I don't think there's any reason for them to keep him on board as it could only hurt the show's momentum heading into Season 2.

All episodes of Wednesday Season 1 are available to stream on Netflix.
