Watch Star Trek Alums Play The Star Trek: Bridge Crew VR Game

Ubisoft recently announced the title of its virtual reality Star Trek game to be Star Trek: Bridge Crew. The company also released a video at E3, showing Star Trek alums LeVar Burton, Karl Urban and Jery Ryan using Oculus Rifts to immerse themselves in a virtual spaceship.Watch the trailer:

Although the graphics don't look as impressive as I'd hoped, Star Trek: Bridge Crew looks like a dream come true for fans of the science fiction franchise. It's cool that players could take different roles (Captain, Tactical or Engineer) and work as a team to accomplish their mission, and it's fun seeing how enthusiastic the Star Trek alums are in this video.

As Comicbook reports, actor talked about the game live: "We use our imaginations so much when you're on the set. You're operating the console, and it's not connected to anything. You don't have to imagine in this game. You are existing in a completely rendered environment. You're on the bridge of a starship and you're with your friends."

Star Trek: Bridge Crew wil be available this Fall on all VR platforms.
