Watch: Every Easter Egg And Reference In Spider-Man: Homecoming

[SPOILER: THIS VIDEO CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR SPIDER-MAN HOMECOMING]

Like every other Marvel movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming is chock full of Easter eggs and references from the comics, and Mr. Sunday Movies on Youtube has gone down to pore on every one he can spot. He didn't spot everything though, because I noticed one that he forgot to mention.

First let's talk about the one he did spot. For one, a lot of the Stark upgrades on the Spidey suit have actually been featured in the comics, and Spider-Man does in fact have an army of spider-drones that he drops all over the city. Ned also asks him if he can spit Venom, which could be an allusion to his archenemy in the comics, Eddie Brock a.k.a. Venom.

Donald Glover's character also mentions that he has a nephew, and fans will know this nephew to be Miles Morales, the newer Spider-Man who took on the mantle after Peter Parker. The Shocker also wields the same weapon that Crossbones does in Captain America: Civil War.

As for the reference he missed, the song Blitzkrieg Bop from the Ramones is heard within the movie and again during the ending credits. The Ramones famously did a cover of the classic Spider-Man theme from the cartoon. You can check it out here:

Spider-Man: Homecoming is now out in theaters.
