Watch: Every Easter Egg and Reference in Ant-Man and the Wasp

Ant-Man and the Wasp is finally here, and it's definitely the refresher course we need after the heavy ramifications of Avengers: Infinity War. Like any other MCU film, it's filled to the brim with Easter Eggs and references to the comics. Good thing we have Mr. Sunday Movies from Youtube to give us some elaborate breakdowns.

For one, I had no idea that a lot of the other characters were actually lifted from the comics. I thought Walton Goggins' Sonny Burch was just made for the film, but he was actually a chairman at Cross Technologies in the comics. Even Burch's FBI informant is someone from the books.

As for the main antagonist Ghost, she's actually a ‘he' in the comics, and he was supposed to be a villain from Iron Man's roster. Granted Ant-Man didn't have that much memorable foes, the movie still managed to bring one over from the comics; Ghost's father Elias Starr was Ant-Man villain Egghead.

I have to say Marvel had made some interesting character choices with its movies lately—particularly with villains. Since Ego the Living Planet, we've been getting more foes that are more than just dark reflections of the heroes. Hopefully this trend goes on way past Phase 4.
