Watch BB-8, C-3PO, and R2-D2 Take Over Oscars 2016

Mad Max may have shut out Star Wars: The Force Awakensfrom winning Oscars at the 88th Academy Awards, but the presence of the greatest epic is very much alive. Your favorite Star Wars droids BB-8, C-3PO, and R2-D2 took the stage at the Oscars Sunday night to honor the legendary composer John Williams, who recently received his 50th Oscar nomination.

The droids wandered on to the stage while searching for their seats and stopped to muse over C-3PO's resemblance to the Oscar statuette. Then they went on to admire Williams, who's not just responsible for the epic music in the Star Wars universe, but also the terrific soundtracks to films like Indiana Jones, Jaws, Jurassic Park, Home Alone, Saving Private Ryan, and Schindler's List.

“He has already won five Oscars for composing,” said C-3PO. “No wonder he has a good seat.”
