Watch Anakin and Obi-Wan's Clone Wars Voice Actors Dub Over Star Wars Prequel Lines

While most mainstream audiences associate young Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker with Ewan McGreggor and Hayden Christensen respectively, hardcore Star Wars fans also love Clone Wars voice actors James Arnold Taylor and Matt Lanter. Both voice actors did a great job in the acclaimed animated series, to the point that some fans actually prefer them over the live-action actors and it's easy to see why given the number of episodes they voiced these characters.

Now that a final Clone Wars season is coming to Disney+, hype for the series is at an all-time high. As if that wasn't enough, both Arnold Taylor and Lanter voiced Obi-Wan and Anakin again for Star Wars Battlefront II since both characters were recently added as free DLC for the multiplayer shooter. To mark the occasion, YouTuber Cinematic Captures used lines from the game and dubbed it over some of the prequel's live-action lines.

Honestly, seeing the Christensen and McGreggor with different voices is pretty jarring. That being said, it would be fantastic if Disney and LucasFilm decided to remake the first three prequel films in animated form, with the same animation and voice cast from The Clone Wars. We'd also like it if they retroactively took away Midichlorians but let's not get hasty.

No release date for the Disney+ streaming service or the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars has been revealed.
