Watch: An Extended Look at the Jurassic World Live Tour

While we may have to wait until 2021 to get a look at Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World 3, Feld Entertainment had launched a live show last year that lets people watch “dinosaurs” live. Just in, we have a new video giving us an extended look into the Jurassic World Live Tour.

Check it out:

What’s cool is, it goes on like an interactive play, and it features a lot of great practical effects from the raptors to the T-Rex. I mean, it is kind of distracting that you can see the legs of the puppeteers, but I imagine that’s going to be easy to ignore once the show gets going.

It’s also worth noting that the story of the tour is said to take place between the events of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World. The show may not have Chris Pratt playing Owen, but we do get a look at some familiar dinosaurs like the original T-Rex from the first film, as well as everyone’s favorite raptor Blue. We even get a look at the villain of JW, the Indominus Rex, and it looks like it made some sort of escape in this story before it went completely loose in the film.

With Jurassic World 3 still more than a year away, I guess this is a cool thing to check out if you really want to get into dinosaurs. I’m sure that kids will love it, and as someone who likes puppets and practical effects, I really love how the dinos are brought to life.

Tickets are now available for the Jurassic World Live Tour, and you can check out their schedules here.
