Wizards of the Coast promised to reprint Magic: The Gathering cards that will be Modern-legal for the upcoming straight-to-Modern Magic set, Modern Horizons, and now, The Professor of Tolarian Community College has shared his Top 5 Legacy cards (plus an honorable mention) that will most likely see a reprint in Modern Horizons.

4. Chainer's Edict
3. Wirewood Symbiote
2. Containment Priest
1. Counterspell
It's not surprising to see Counterspell top this list, and he's probably right. Daze and Force of Will are less likely to get a reprint for Modern Horizons and I don't think printing Counterspell will make Control decks too powerful in the Modern meta. Magic head designer Mark Rosewater previously said that the set will make an impact on the Modern format so it's likely that the reprints will change the Modern meta significantly when Modern Horizons releases.

Modern Horizons will be released on June 14. Prerelease events will take place on June 8 and 9. The prerelease events will be Draft, not Sealed. Previews will begin at the end of May.
