Warner Brothers Launches DC Universe News Show With Kevin Smith Hosting Its Premiere

Warner Brothers has slowly been hashing its offerings for its upcoming streaming service, and it looks like the studio's also adding a DC-focused news show in its DC Universe.

According to an official press release by DC, the DC Universe is now going to offer a daily news show dedicated to the site. Titled DC Daily, the news show is going to premiere on August 29 at 4:30 pm PST with Kevin hosting the show along with a few "surprise guests."

The show is going to offer the DC fanbase "entertaining news and insights, exclusive guest appearances, interviews and panel discussions with some of the most knowledgeable voices in the DC Universe."

DC Daily won't just be on one platform too. DC fans can see the series make its premiere on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook while future episodes are also set to stream on Warner Brother's DC Universe. According to Warner Brothers, DC Daily's headlines are going to be made available to everyone on YouTube on DC's channel after it makes its premiere. The episodes are also going to be made available on the DC Universe subscription service when it launches this fall and subscribers are going to be offered "exclusive, expanded version of the show that provides additional content and behind-the-scenes access."

Though fans are hoping that DC Daily is going to give more updates on the DCEU, the show is also going to give updates on upcoming comics and projects from DC.
