Marvel star Elizabeth Olsen may have a lot on her plate these days but one thing's for sure, she seems to be enjoying her upgraded role and responsibility in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Olsen has previously stated that she hopes to play Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch for more years to come and considering she's working on two important MCU projects — WandaVision and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it's safe to assume that she'll indeed be sticking around.

In a recent interview with Empire Magazine, Olsen shared her incredible experience of playing the iconic Marvel superhero, a role she has been portraying since 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron. She also believes that now more than ever, she'll be able to contribute to the billion-dollar franchise. She said, "I've spent the last year with Wanda. It's actually incredible to go back-to-back because I feel I can contribute so much more now."

Even though it took Marvel Studios quite a while to pull the trigger, it's still great to see them finally put the spotlight on Wanda Maximoff and her untapped potential. With the confirmation from Kevin Feige that WandaVision will indeed be responsible for the events that will transpire in Doctor Strange 2, expect Scarlet Witch to be one of the most thrilling parts of the MCU's Phase 4.

That said, WandaVision will premiere on Disney+ on January 15, 2021.
