WandaVision Star Teyonah Parris Says Series Finale is 'Incredibly Sad'

There is little doubt that just about every episode of WandaVision has been truly exciting. However, things could change in the last few episodes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe show. Teyonah Parris has just revealed that the series finale is actually "incredibly sad."

Parris recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about working on WandaVision and she was asked to describe the last three episodes in a few words. Interestingly, the Candyman star chose "epic and incredibly sad."

"I mean, the whole show is incredibly sad to me, but I'm putting those words together," Parris explained.

We understand the "epic" part considering that WandaVision is already building up to two MCU films Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (which will star Elizabeth Olsen) and Captain Marvel 2 (which features Parris). It's the "incredibly sad" part that has us concerned.

So why did Parris choose to say that WandaVision will have a sorrowful ending? It's possible that Wanda Maximoff will ultimately have to accept that the fake reality she created isn't real. In addition to that, it could mean the death of more MCU characters.

Although things might not work out so well for Wanda, everything is falling into place for Parris' Monica Rambeau. In WandaVision Episode 7, Maria Rambeau's daughter finally got her superpowers as she forced her way back into the Hex. This allowed her to face off against Wanda in one of the show's coolest scenes.

The latest episode of WandaVision is titled Breaking the Fourth Wall. The new episode is now available for streaming on Disney+.
