WandaVision may have made it clear that nobody can stop Scarlet Witch as she is determined to keep her home in Westview. However, the latest episode possibly teased at Billy and Tommy eventually stepping up to save the residents in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series.
Billy and Tommy are undoubtedly the cutest new additions to the Marvel family. The twins were born in the third episode Now in Color and have been growing fast in the show. Interestingly, Episode 6 has confirmed that the boys have inherited some cool powers from their mother and her twin.
In All-New Halloween Spooktacular!, Billy and Tommy discovered their powers while they were out trick or treating with Wanda and Pietro. Tommy was first to discover his super-speed and immediately used it to visit every house for candies. Billy would later use his own powers to stop his brother.
Interestingly, Billy's powers also allowed him to sense that Vision was dying from being outside the static wall. He immediately alerted Wanda who in turn expanded the Hex to save Vision. However, it wasn't before Billy realized the consequences of being outside the wall.
So what could this possibly mean for WandaVision? There are speculations that Billy and Tommy will be the ones to go up against their own mother to free the residents of Westview. After all, it has already been proven that Wanda can't control the twins and it would be an interesting parallel to how she and Pietro opposed Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
For now, the twins might seem like a couple of bright young boys who are just there for the ride but there could be a major reason why they were introduced in the first place. Hopefully, we'll get to see Billy and Tommy in action in WandaVision.
