WandaVision Posters Break Down Each Era in the Series

The fourth phase of the MCU may have been delayed, but it's finally set to start this coming January with WandaVision. We've been teased that the series will be changing from each era of television, and what's neat is, the teaser posters that have been released give us a solid layout of which era is which.

Though I thought that the black and white setting would be only one era, it turns out, it will actually be representing the 50s and the 60s. As for subsequent decades, we see Wanda and Vision wearing different outfits, with the Halloween get-ups taking place in the 90s. From that, we can assume that those costumes will be close to the end of the series—unless the show wants to jump back and forth in the timeline, which is still a possibility.

Personally, the era I'm excited to see on WandaVision is the contemporary mockumentary-style similar to The Office and Modern Family. I don't know how it's going to be handled, but I think it would be fun to watch Wanda and Vision talk directly to the camera and do scenes complete with shaky cam.

Welcome to WandaVision. Coming soon to Disney+. Marvel Studios' captivating new series "WandaVision" stars Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, and marks the first series from Marvel Studios streaming exclusively on Disney+. The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

Catch WandaVision on Disney+ when it premiers on January 15, 2021.
