Marvel fans are losing it over the news that surfaced last night claiming that Charlie Cox will indeed make his Daredevil return in the MCU. You may recall that the rights to the character have officially reverted back to Marvel last week which means that they can start using the "Man Without Fear" moving forward. Cox's involvement in Spider-Man 3 has yet to be confirmed but according to several reports, it's only a matter of time before Marvel Studios and Sony make things official.

According to tipster Grace Randolph who often delivers reliable insider information, Charlie Cox will indeed be joining Spider-Man 3 to serve as Peter Parker's lawyer. She also revealed that Kevin Feige at one point was actually toying with the idea of having Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk appear in the film as Spidey's legal representative but he felt that Parker and Murdock's comic connection is much stronger. Check out her tweet below:

In case you forgot, Peter's true identity as Spider-Man was exposed by Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home in a massive cliffhanger. Now, it's quite obvious that Murdock will enter the scene to either clear up his name from Mysterio's allegations (because he made it appear in his video that Spider-Man was out to kill him) or to protect his superhero identity so his loved ones won't be put in danger. Whatever goes down in the film though, we can all expect it to have an even bigger feel than its predecessors.

The MCU's third Spider-Man film is scheduled for release in December 2021.
