Two episodes of WandaVision and everyone is hyped, confused, excited, and a whole mix of emotions for what is in store for the first release of Marvel Cinematic Universe since the drought the pandemic has brought. Despite getting mixed reactions from the first two episodes as the series gave a very different touch of storytelling, Episode 3 is highly anticipated as it could unfold more of the mysteries of Westview and its uncanny new couple, Wanda and Vision.
At the end of episode two, Wanda is revealed to be pregnant when she mentioned that the children might be needing some popcorn. This could mean that the next episode would venture into Wanda's unusual pregnancy and give way to the first appearance of the twins, Wiccan and Speed. The two are reportedly born out of the pocket reality that Wanda has made which could possibly lead to more chaos as it is theorized that Mephisto is related to the pocket reality Wanda and Vision is in.
It could be Mephisto that was hinted at when Dottie made the remark that the devil is in the details and when Agnes said that that is not the only place he is. This could hint that he could be hiding in plain sight. Mephisto is one of the most powerful villains in Marvel comics and is an extra-dimensional entity considered as the ruler of hell. He has the ability to alter his form to achieve his evil goal. This could directly set up Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
The third episode will be in technicolor as seen at the end of episode 2 where color started appearing everywhere. This will likely lead the series to the ‘70s sitcom format and the characters to don ‘70s outfits.
In a part of one of the trailers, pregnant Wanda is seen to answer the door where Monica is knocking and this will possibly introduce how she is related to Wanda and Vision in the whole series. Another breadcrumb from the trailers is when Wanda bumps into a pile of fruits and Vision seems to have super speed, the power of Wanda's brother, Quicksilver.
With the red chopper appearing randomly with color and in the rose bushes and Jimmy Woo's message to Wanda, we may also get to see the involvement of Agents of SWORD in the series.
Being the third out of nine episodes appearing weekly, it is expected that more to the story will be revealed as it unfolds a new chapter in Wanda and Vision's new reality.
The third episode of WandaVision will be released on Friday, January 22, 2021, at 3 AM EST, via Disney+.
