VIXX Leo is ready to join another industry after his success as an idol and a stage actor.
Before debuting as an idol, Leo already proved that he could do anything by actively involved in several sports, including swimming, taekwondo, soccer, and boxing. While he studied music composition in college, it was until he heard Wheesung’s Walking in the Sky that he finally developed an interest in becoming a singer.
He finally debuted in May 2012 after making it to the final lineup in Mnet’s reality show, MyDOL. Amid VIXX’s skyrocketing career, he did some cameos in several shows including The Heirs and Full House before trying to act in musical plays.
This year, Leo will show more of himself as he will formally debut in the acting industry through a web drama.

VIXX Leo To Play Lead Role in A Happy Ending Outside The Fence
Multiple news outlets confirmed that Leo would be part of the upcoming web drama, A Happy Ending Outside The Fence, and the K-pop idol immediately scored the lead role.
Korean news outlets revealed that the Love Letter singer would play star writer Kim Jung Hyun in the series. The character has a hidden secret which makes him more mysterious and captivating.

Since his role’s attitude is similar to his, STARLIGHTs now expect that Leo will surely deliver smooth performance while completing it with his charms.
A Happy Ending Outside The Fence will be his first web drama after starring in several musicals like Monte Cristo, Mata Hari, Elisabeth, The Last Kiss, and Frankenstein, to name a few.
VIXX Leo Already Hinted About His Casting
Before the official announcement came out, the K-pop idol had already sparked rumors about his involvement in the drama when he posted a photo of the script on his Instagram Story.
Initially, he nor the production team did not confirm his participation.
But Dramatist’s official Instagram page finally shared a photo of Leo doing his role, writing the show’s Korean title and BL on the caption. He is the second VIXX member to be cast in a BL drama following Hyuk in Color Rush.
