Vivy Fluorite Eye's Song follows Vivy, the first autonomous AI, who was created with a single purpose or code: to make people happy with her singing. In-universe, this is the closest an AI has to a soul. Try as she might, however, she rarely gets a proper audience to entertain and she doesn't understand the meaning of pouring her heart into a song.
Everything changes for Vivy when she is visited by Matsumoto, and Al in the form of a teddy bear, who claims to come from the future and soon enlists her in a mission to prevent a war between AIs and humanity

In Episode 10 a fearful thing that has already been foreshadowed finally happens. 5 years after the Zodiac Signs Fes, Vivy has been forced to retire and is now a museum specimen, known as the first autonomous AI. She has lost her voice, but with Matsumoto no longer coming for her, she spends the next years composing her own song, an unprecedented feat for any AI.
In Matsumoto's absence, Vivy gets to meet the AI's creator, who is willing to teach her what a heart is, finally helping her achieve the self-awareness she was after all along. Completing her song, Vivy seemingly shuts down forever with her mission complete... as if! A few years later she wakes up, only to find that her song has been appropriated in the war between humans and AIs, which is happening despite her efforts. What now?
