Vivy Fluorite Eye's Song follows Vivy, the first autonomous AI, who was created with one purpose alone: to make people happy with her singing. In Episode 9, the man who has captured Diva turns out to be an AI version of Yugo. It's revealed that the reason he hates AIs is that his piano teacher, also an AI, deviated from her programming to save others, resulting in her own death.
Matsumoto and Antonio fight, trying to hack each other. Matsumoto breaks free and frees Ophelia from Antonio's control but the damage on both of them is irreparable.
Yugo attempts to restore Vivy's memories, erasing her personality as Diva, but Matsumoto arrives and kills Yugo. Still, Diva is affected by Yugo's virus and shuts down, leaving Vivy in her place.
Gugu has a crush on Rean, a girl he often sees in the market. When he finds her missing dog, she gives him a ring to sell and improve his life. Before he can do that, however, he helps Rean once more, this time at a terrible cost. When a heavy wooden log falls fast towards the girl, Gugu rescues her, taking the blow himself. Gugu survives but his face is crushed, living him horribly deformed.
