It's hard to believe Fushi was merely an orb only 6 episodes ago; he still has a long way to go, but he is adapting to human life fast and he has already found more people to care about.

To Your Eternity Episode 7 Recap
To Your Eternity is adapting an award-winning manga series written and illustrated by Yoshitoki Oima. It follows a mysterious immortal being who first comes to the earth nameless and emotionless. The being can take any form but starts with no identity and becomes increasingly human through stimulation.

Episode 7 introduces us to Gugu, a young boy. Along with his older brother, the orphan boy is a laborer who spends his days selling fruit in the market or working in the fields, He and his brothers plan to save money that will allow them to have a more comfortable life in the future, but the brother runs away with all their savings early in the episode.
Gugu has a crush on Rean, a girl he often sees in the market. When he finds her missing dog, she gives him a ring to sell and improve his life. Before he can do that, however, he helps Rean once more, this time at a terrible cost. When a heavy wooden log falls fast towards the girl, Gugu rescues her, taking the blow himself. Gugu survives but his face is crushed, living him horribly deformed.
The young boy is taken in by Pioran's lover, an old man who makes alcoholic beverages, and welcomes the elderly woman when she and Fushi arrive. Gugu, who has taken to wearing a mask to hide his deformity, befriends Fushi and comes to regard him as a brother. Things, however, get complicated when Rean visits the shop and doesn't recognize Gugu, but takes a liking to Fushi.
Gugu might have escaped his poverty, but it all came at a horrible cost. What does Episode 8 hold for him and Fushi?
