Vin Diesel Confirms Last Witch Hunter 2 Script is in the Works During COVID-19 Quarantine

It has been a while since we got any updates on a possible sequel to The Last Witch Hunter. Interestingly, the Coronavirus outbreak might actually be helping with the progress. Vin Diesel has just revealed that the Last Witch Hunter 2 script is being written due to the mandatory self-quarantine.

Diesel took to his official Instagram account to share a still from the first film along with an interesting caption. Take a look at his post below.

"Some of the best scripts will be written during this time... All love, Always," Diesel wrote.

Not surprisingly, fans were excited about the update considering that it has been a long time since there was an update on The Last Witch Hunter 2. However, it is important to point out that Diesel didn't mention the sequel or any other major projects. Nevertheless, we wouldn't be surprised if we get an official announcement about the film soon.

The Last Witch Hunter starred Diesel as an immortal witch hunter who teams up with a witch named Chloe (Rose Leslie) in an effort to prevent the Witch Queen's return. The film ended with Diesel's Kaulder leaving the Axe and Cross organization to work with Chloe and the 36th Dolan (Michael Caine). Interestingly, the conclusion also teased on the Witch Queen still being alive so this could be the premise of the sequel.

The Last Witch Hunter 2 has not yet been officially announced by Lionsgate. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
