Will There Be a Vermeil in Gold Season 2?

Despite being a popular school-themed anime, Vermeil in Gold has not been confirmed for season 2 as of the moment. Staple Entertainment has yet to confirm if a sequel is possible for the series.

Most sequel announcements are done when the first season is over, or it could actually happen years after. As long as the show is not cancelled, the door is still not closed for the series.

Based on the current progress of the anime so far, episode 7 of Vermeil in Gold already started volume 3 of the manga. This could mean that the first 6 episodes covered volumes one and two. If we were to make a prediction, episodes 7 to 12 will cover volumes three and four.

There are 6 volumes readily available and if our prediction is right then volumes 5 and 6 won’t be adapted into an anime. But two volumes are not enough for a whole new season.

If so, then viewers will have to wait for more manga content to be published before a sequel is made.

Again, if we analyze when each volume is released, the creator can release 2 volumes at most per year. 6 volumes would take 4 years to complete, based on the creator’s progress before.
