Even though it only began part 2 in late 2022, Kodansha announced the Vampire Dormitory manga’s June ending date.
The manga’s official ending date was revealed in the latest issue of Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine. There, it was confirmed that the final chapter of the manga will be released in the magazine in early June.
With the manga’s impending ending, fans of the ongoing anime may have a reason to pick up the story now when the anime also ends.
How Much of the Manga Will the Vampire Dormitory Anime Cover?
The Vampire Dormitory manga began back in November 2018, but it is only now that it received a TV anime adaptation. This adaptation was announced back in October 2023.
It is produced by Studio Blanc, the anime studio behind shows such as Ayaka: A Story of Bonds and Wounds and The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World.
As for its cast, the Vampire Dormitory anime features some well-known VAs, including Kana Ichinose (Fern in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End) and Shun'ichi Toki (Oliver Laurents Friedheim in 7th Time Loop)
While the manga is already 13 volumes long, the anime will only feature 12 episodes, meaning it will not cover the manga’s entire story.
It’s not clear how many chapters and volumes the anime will adapt, but it likely won’t reach the halfway point of the original story.

Vampire Dormitory Manga Reveals June Ending Date
While the anime has gotten new chapters every month since its November 2018 debut, the Vampire Dormitory manga entered a months-long hiatus back in July 2022.
The series then returned in December 2022 with part 2. Even though it hasn’t been two years yet, the manga’s second part is officially ending with a proper finale for the series.
Vampire Dormitory’s final chapter will be released in Japan on June 3, 2024, in the Nakayoshi magazine’s July 2024 issue.
It’s not clear when the last volume of the manga will be released in Japan, though it will likely be published later this year.
When Will the Vampire Dormitory Manga’s Final Chapter Be Released in the US?
Fans in the US can read the Vampire Dormitory manga through Kodansha, which is available both physically and digitally.
Volume 11 of the series is set to be released in English on May 21 digitally, with a print release scheduled on May 28.
As there are still a couple of volumes left before the ending, chances are that the series’ final volume will be released in the US sometime in 2025.
This is based on the typical gap between the Japanese and English volume releases for this series.
