In a recent blog post on their website, Riot Games has revealed their plans for the upcoming Agents in Valorant.
Although they didn't fully reveal details of the next Valorant Agent, Riot has confirmed that he will be a Duelist.
"The year will tear open with a Duelist for all you ‘lurkers' out there, who will keep you on your toes around which angles are truly safe," wrote John Goscicki, Character Producer of Valorant.
For the unaware, Valorant has four types of Agents: Duelists, Sentinels, Controllers, and Initiators. Duelists are generally aggressive fraggers who their team expects, through abilities and skills, to seek engagements and get high frags. Currently, there are 4 Duelists, 3 Initiators, 3 Sentinels, and 3 Controllers in the tactical shooter.
Earlier this month, Riot teased the silhouette of the new Agent.
The new Valorant Agent will most likely be added to the game in early 2021, alongside the launch of Episode 2 on January 11.
