Universal Releases New James McAvoy Teaser Announcing The Arrival Of Glass’ Official Trailer

It looks like M. Night Shyamalan fans have a new teaser for the upcoming Split sequel, Glass.

Glass' official Twitter account just dropped a brief teaser trailer showing off James McAvoy's' villain from the 2016 blockbuster hit, Split. Introducing McAvoy as The Beast, the new post from the movie's official Twitter account beckons fans to watch out for the new trailer set for release this Thursday.

Running for about fifteen seconds, the teaser clip shows off various images of Split's Kevin Wendell Crumb and the various members of the Horde reflected in shards of glass. When the glass comes together, the image forms The Beast, the 24th and final personality in Crumb who's been suffering from dissociative identity disorder (DID).

Check out the teaser down here:

For those who haven't seen Split yet, McAvoy's character Crumb suffers from multiple personality disorder where 24 personalities come and go inside him. The most destructive personality is the killer known as The Beast, a sociopath that transforms Crumb's body and turns him into a cannibalistic terror that murders people who haven't truly suffered enough.

With this teaser out, fans can probably expect another set of teasers focused on Bruce Willis' David Dunn and Samuel L. Jackson's Mr. Glass – all in preparation for the upcoming crossover between Split and the Shyamalan's post-modern superhero movie, Unbreakable.

Starring Jackson, Willis, and McAvoy, Glass will also feature Sarah Paulson, Anya Taylor-Joy, Spencer Treat Clark and Charlayne Woodard. The film is set for release on January 18, 2019.
