The third season of The Umbrella Academy is currently in production and it looks like the Sparrow Academy already have a cool new uniform. Netflix has just shared a new photo of the Sparrows wearing matching jackets.
The NX on Netflix official Twitter account has posted the image featuring Justin H. Min with his new co-stars Justin Cornwell, Britne Oldford, Genesis Rodriguez, Cazzie David, and Jake Epstein. Check it out below.
We're loving the jackets which could become part of the Sparrow Academy's official gear in The Umbrella Academy Season 3. We're just hoping that the Cube also gets one in the show.
The Sparrows were first introduced in the final episode of The Umbrella Academy Season 2 when the Academy went back to an altered 2019 and discovered that Reginald Hargreeves has formed a different team of super-powered children (and cube). Interestingly, this new group appears to be led by Min's Ben Hargreeves.
Although the Sparrows only appeared briefly in the second season, it has been confirmed that they will play a larger role in Season 3. We're just not sure if they will get along with the Academy but it's something we're looking forward to seeing in the series.
The Umbrella Academy Season 3 will also bring back the original cast that includes Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, and Aidan Gallagher. The upcoming season has not yet been given a release date but could premiere on Netflix before the end of the year. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
