Umbrella Academy Season 2 Has Officially Started Filming


Umbrella Academy proved to be another hit from Netflix and is another successful comic book adaptation. The first season was filled with memorable characters, fun storylines, over-the-top concepts, and more that would make fans of comic books happy. Since the first season ended with one hell of a cliffhanger, fans have been waiting for the second season to come out since it has no release date yet.

As we wait for it, new photos and posts from Instagram have revealed that the second show is already in production. We get to see Ellen Page and the rest of the cast having fun and taking pictures, which is fun to see. Anyone hoping to see Umbrella Academy season 2 teases are going to be disappointed, though it will be fun to see what the series' next installment has in store for us.

The Umbrella Academy is based on the popular, Eisner award-winning comics and graphic novels created and written by Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance), illustrated by Gabriel Bá, and published by Dark Horse Comics. The live-action series stars Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, David Castañeda, Aidan Gallagher, Cameron Britton, and Mary J. Blige, and is produced by Universal Cable Productions for Netflix. Steve Blackman (Fargo, Altered Carbon) will serve as executive producer and showrunner, with additional executive producers Jeff F. King (Hand of God), Bluegrass Television, and Mike Richardson and Keith Goldberg from Dark Horse Entertainment.

Umbrella Academy can currently be streamed on Netflix.
