TXT continues to dominate the international scene with their unmatched charms.

Following the success of BTS, HYBE debuted its five-membered group in March 2019 and introduced Yeonjun, Hueningkai, Taehyun, Soobin, and Beomgyu to the public. They immediately earned positive responses from the public that they got compared to the now-supergroup, BTS.

The boy group first wowed the public with their debut mini-album, The Dream Chapter: STAR, where they talked about the difficulties teenagers have to experience. They went on to release their studio albums Still Dreaming and The Chaos Chapter: Freeze last year.

Due to their continued success, the boy group received a special award at NME Awards 2022 and made history through the recognition.

TXT Wins Hero of the Year Award

On March 2, the BandLab NME Awards 2022 named TXT the Hero of the Year. While it could be a simple award the group received so far, the recognition actually pushed them to the top as they became the first Korean artist to score it in history.

Previously, international musicians and A-listers won the award for making “the world a much more excellent place over the last 12 months.” TXT follows Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Barack Obama, Ozzy Osbourne, Ariana Grande, Liam Gallagher, Ariana Grande, and Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner on the list of recipients.
