TWICE Jeongyeon needs more rest, that she chose not to join her group's upcoming concerts in Seoul.
The past months have been tough for Jeongyeon as she continuously suffered from different health issues that affected her appearances with the girl group. It all started last year when she, as well as her co-member Mina, took a break from their career due to their mental health issues.
She also faced several physical issues that opted for taking more breaks than expected, and the K-pop idol needs more of that now.

TWICE Jeongyeon To Skip Girl Group's Seoul Concerts
JYP Entertainment released a statement on Monday confirming that the K-pop idol would not be able to join the girl group due to health concerns. TWICE is scheduled to hold the first leg of their world tour starting in Seoul on December 25 to 26.
"We apologize for delivering such unfortunate news to the fans who have been waiting for these concerts. As an agency, we will do our best to make sure that our artists can promote in good health," it continued, as translated by Soompi.
The label clarified that it was Jeongyeon, the members, and the company's decision not to allow her to perform for now to prioritize her health. With that, JYP Entertainment started offering 100 percent refunds to those fans who changed their mind following the release of the statement.

JYP Entertainment also took its time to thank the fans for their anticipation and support for TWICE and its members.
However, some ONCEs were left enraged since the recent digital posters did not include Jeongyeon at all. For instance, the company's Japanese page shared a sneak peek of the group's single Doughnut. They noticed that Jeongyeon was missing in the material and other digital posters of the group.
Fans then started to trend Respect Jeongyeon as JYP failed to include the K-pop idol who reportedly could join the photo shoot, at least. Most of them also sent their well wishes to Jeongyeon and told her she has been working hard for them.
Jeongyeon Earns Well-Known Supporter Despite Hiatus
Meanwhile, ONCEs also felt overwhelmed after finding out that the president of Chile is seemingly a fan of Jeongyeon.
The elected Chilean President Gabriel Borich recently posed for a picture whole holding a photocard of the TWICE member as he shows a finger heart. Some fans also noted that he might be a fan of Stray Kids, as well, since he was seen holding a picture of Jisung.
For now, the president and other fans can only send their wishes to Jeongyeon and let her know that her absence will not affect the amount of support they have for her.
