Twenty Five Twenty One Episode 14 sees Hee-do and Yi-jin meeting the group as a couple. Seeing how they entered holding each other’s hands brought shock and curiosity to Yu-rim, Ji-ung, and Seung-wan.
The three began asking questions about how they ended up with each other and continued the night with joy.
However, a painful accident occurs the next morning when Yu-rim is about to go home from having a night out with her friends.
Her father got into an accident wherein he had an arm injury, and the other person who collided with him was in a serious state.
Because of the settlement, Yu-rim’s family was pressured to look for money as soon as possible. This had her arrive at a most difficult decision that placed her in hot water with the public.
Yu-rim decided to give up her Korean nationality and accept the offer of Russia to be their athlete. It was known in the sports industry that Russia gives its athletes high salaries, which is what Yu-rim needs.
At first, only Yu-rim and her friends knew about her transfer to Russia. That night, they were expecting Yi-jin’s presence as they conduct a farewell party for Yu-rim.

However, when Seung-wan turned the television on, they saw the news of Yu-rim’s change of nationality from Yi-jin.
It was a huge disappointment, especially to Hee-do, who had trusted Yi-jin all her life. She had no idea that he would be the first one to report it nationwide, knowing that Hee-do also experienced being bashed and hated by the public.
Twenty Five Twenty One Episode 15 also highlights Hee-do and Yu-rim’s unbreakable friendship. When Yu-rim was packing her things from the gym, she got stuck inside when the reporters started surrounding the vicinity.
Yu-rim gives Hee-do a call, then the latter immediately comes running. Using their wit as fencing athletes, they managed to escape the reporters and share another memory that further tightened their friendship.
Meanwhile, Yu-rim was about to fly to Russia the next day, and Ji-ung had no idea about it. He rushed to the airport, getting over his fear of driving, and declared his unending love for Yu-rim.
Going back to 2009, Yi-jin interviewed Hee-do about her recent gold medal. The shocking revelation that Hee-do got married changed the atmosphere of the series, bringing forth a new kind of curiosity about Hee-do’s husband.
