Lev is finally released from confinement, and Franz, who sabotaged Irina, is punished. Lev manages to attend the test launch, being there for Irina, even belatedly. Irina is instructed to recite different recipes as code, to give an indication of her situation.

Finally, our vampire heroine makes it to space! Her excitement, however, is mingled with disappointment, as she hasn't made it to the moon yet! At least, the test goes as planned, and she's able to reunite with Lev back on earth with no major issues. The adventures is only beginning!
