Transformers One was finally released over the weekend, featuring the return of fan-favorite Autobots and Decepticons to the big screen. However, as the story revolves around the origins of Optimus Prime and Megatron on Cybertron, it's understandable that not all the bots from the franchise appear in the prequel movie.

In addition to Orion Pax/Optimus Prime (Chris Hemsworth), D-16/Megatron (Brian Tyree Henry), Elita-1 (Scarlett Johansson), and B-127/Bumblebee (Keegan-Michael Key), classic Transformers characters like Sentinel Prime, Airachnid, Starscream, Soundwave, and Shockwave have made their way into Transformers One.

Ironhide, Jazz, Cliffjumper, Chromia, and others also make appearances. With several other bots from the franchise that could have been included, here are 10 major Autobots and Decepticons fans would love to see in a sequel.

10. Grimlock

Grimlock, also known as Clobber, is a member of the Autobots, though some wonder why the leader of the Dinobots is part of their ranks, given his disposition often aligns with the Decepticons.

He values power and strength over wisdom and compassion and even has issues with his fellow Autobots, including Optimus Prime.

However, the Autobots may not realize that Grimlock despises anyone who abuses their strength and will always stand on the right side of the conflict. So, despite frequently disagreeing with Optimus Prime, he respects his strength and leadership.

With his immense power and durability, similar to Optimus Prime and Megatron, Grimlock would be a welcome addition to a future Transformers One installment.

9. Ultra Magnus

Despite having the traits of a natural leader, Ultra Magnus only sees himself as a soldier who always follows orders and avoids taking higher responsibilities.

He's relatively strong, dependable, selfless, and courageous, considered Optimus Prime's battle brother during the Autobots' war with the Decepticons.

He is willing to sacrifice himself for the good of everyone and is a more powerful bot than the average Autobot. Both Autobots and Decepticons respect his resilience and courage.

As Transformers One ends by teasing a battle between the newly formed Autobots and Decepticons, it will only make sense if UItra Magnus is involved in this war.

8. Omega Supreme

If you think Optimus Prime is big enough, wait until you see Omega Supreme. He's one of the largest Autobots and perhaps the most powerful, letting his mountainous frame and vast firepower do the talking.

He's the last line of the Autobot defense. So, if he gets called into a battle, expect that to end quickly when he arrives.

As the last survivor of the Guardian robots, he effortlessly instills fear and panic into the Decepticons. So, as the war is about to begin, the Autobots may call on the help of Omega Supreme to bring the enemies down.

7. Ratchet

As the Autobots' chief medical officer, Ratchet can fix anything broken. But despite being known as the healer, he often finds himself on the front lines of the battle and is the last hope of the Autobots on some occasions.

While this may pressure him, Ratchet has no plans to give up. His vehicle mode can sometimes split into his robot and a separate component. In some universes, it can also combine with his fellow Autobots to form Defensor, Sky, Reign, and Modulus.

Fans have already seen Ratchet in the live-action Transformers movies, so he may be the next addition to Transformer One's sequel.

6. Frenzy

Frenzy may be small, but never underestimate this Decepticon mini-cassette from the Generation 1 continuity. For him, itā€™s not about the Decepticon cause but violence, fear, destruction, and mayhem.

Frenzy lives to fight and loves to destroy everything; war is his fuel and oxygen. This obsession makes him a valuable asset on the battlefield.

With his manic attack style and battle cry, he will be a crucial advantage for the Decepticons in the coming war against the Autobots.

5. Trypticon

Trypticon has so much hate for the Autobots that he's willing to destroy everything just to get on them, but that doesn't mean his loyalty lies to the Decepticons. In fact, he also hates his fellow kind, making him not officially committed to anyone.

However, Trypticon has already accepted his fate as the ultimate Decepticon weapon. Enormous in both size and power, he's unstoppable, relentless, and no mercy.

Fueled by his hate and love for war, it may be good to see Trypticon on the big screen in the upcoming Transformers One sequel.

4. Constructicons

The Constructicons are the first-ever combining subgroup of Transformers and serve as the Decepticons' foremost designers, engineers, and builders.

Composed of Scrapper, Bonecrusher, Scavenger, Mixmaster, Hook, and Long Haul, they can merge their bodies and minds to form the gigantic Devastator.

However, in some universes, this group has several additional members. Regardless, their incredible strength and abilities would give Megatron a significant advantage when he is ready to face Iacon.

3. Laserbeak

While Laserbeak may not be seen fighting, he remains a valuable asset to the Decepticons. He often spies for his superior, Soundwave, and relays the information he gathers to give them an advantage.

He also serves as the Decepticons' interrogator, using his lasers to torture prisoners and extract the information he seeks. But these aren't the only things he can do.

His evil talents are limitless. He can also act as an assassin, though he vanishes in a flash when chaos ensues, revealing his cowardice.

So, as a winged agent of Soundwave, Laserbeak can be a valuable addition to the Transformers One sequel.

2. Ravage

No Decepticon is as loyal to Megatron as Ravage. Although Ravage is one of Soundwave's most reliable spies, he believes in the Decepticon cause and sees Megatron embodying it.

So, to effectively serve the faction and its leader, Ravage always ensures he is the most efficient, deadly war machine to follow their commands.

As a master of stealth, Ravage hides in the shadows and waits for the perfect time to attack. As only a few can survive his wrath, it will be nice to see Ravage helping the Decepticons in their fight in the sequel.

1. Unicron

The villain of all Transformers villains, Unicron is the arch-enemy of his twin brother Primus and is known as the Lord of Chaos, the Chaos Bringer, and the Planet Eater.

He's dedicated to consuming the multiverse. In fact, his enormous size results from his consumption of the planets, moons, stars, and the very fabric of existence.

Unicron's only goal is to end the annoying creation around him and be the living center of everything.

While it may be impossible to see Unicron in the Transformers One sequel, there's still a possibility that he may make an appearance in this new continuity in the future.

As these are significant figures in the Transformers lore, it's a big possibility that they will appear in the Transformers One sequel. If this happens, it only highlights the unlimited opportunities for future storytelling within this expansive universe.
