Who is The Villain Transformers: Rise of the Beasts?
It has been a mystery from the announcement of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts who the main villain of the movie would be but with the arrival of the official trailer, it is finally unveiled: Unicron.
At first, it was thought to be the Terrorcons because, as their name suggests, they bring terror, and that is something villains do.
Decepticons are also antagonists in the movie but they aren't the main villains, either.
Well, partly, the speculations were correct because the Terrorcons and Decepticons are really on the side of the villain but there is Unicron, their master, who rallies them from behind.
Who is Unicron, the Villain of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts?
Those who follow Transformers from the start will surely know how big of a threat the main villain is for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Unicron.
A planet-eating threat, Unicrom first appeared in the animated Transformers: The Movie and much like in the trailer of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, he bears the same look!
In the Transformers lore, since the beginning of the Universe, The One created Unicron, and then, his twin, Primus.
Primus is the creator god of the Transformers, and Unicron is the exact opposite who wants nothing but pure destruction. Unicron is the god of destruction in all the essence of the word.
Unicron only has one goal: be the only living god in the middle of a universe where everyone is dead.
The war between the twins has been in existence since their creation and Optimus Prime, bearing in his name, is made by Primus, to combat Unicron before he could destroy the Universe.
Under Unicron are the Terrorcons and the Decepticons, which, as their names suggest, inflict terror and deception to bring about the goal of Unicron to success.
To counter that, there are the Autobots and the Maximals which are on the side of Primus.

Who Voices Unicron in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts?
The voice of Unicron in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is none other than Colman Domingo, a Primetime Emmy Award winner and Tony and Olivier Award nominee.
Colman Domingo has tons of accolades under his belt and is best known for his roles in Euphoria, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, Fear the Walking Dead, Candyman, among many others.
Previous adaptations of Unicron include Orson Welles in Transformers: The Movie, John Noble in Transformers: Prime, and Mark Acheson and Katsumi Cho in Transformers: Armada.
