Trailer For X-Men: Dark Phoenix Leaked Online

20th Century Fox might still be working on the reshoots for Simon Kinberg's upcoming X-Men: Dark Phoenix, however it seems like the studio has already developed a trailer for the film, one that's already managed to find its way online.

According to a new report by CBR, Dark Phoenix's trailer has just been leaked on the internet. Captured on a phone that's awkwardly angled and positioned between two seats at a theater, the trailer can be heard in Russian. This suggests that the video probably came from Saint Petersburg where Fox recently held its production presentation.

A part of the trailer is set to the song The End by the band The Doors, and parts of the trailer that can be seen are described to be both "epic and mysterious" by a writer who attended the studio's presentation in Russia. However, it remains to be seen whether or not some of the footage used in the leaked trailer will remain the same after Fox finishes the reshoots for Dark Phoenix. It's very likely that parts of the promotional video will be updated once production is complete.

The good news is though that this new leak proves the rumors wrong – Dark Phoenix has not been dropped from Fox's release calendar. For those who haven't been keeping up with the news surrounding the X-Men installment, rumors came out last month that Dark Phoenix was being cancelled after Fox decided to move the film from its original November 2, 2018 release date to a February 14, 2019 release.

Now, one question remains. When are we going to see the official trailer for the movie? Let's wait and find out.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix comes soaring into cinemas February 14, 2019.
