Trailer For Avengers 4 Won’t Feature Any Of The “Dead” Heroes Of Infinity War

Marvel fans might be hoping to see some sort of sign of character resurrection in the Avengers 4 trailer after the tragic finger-snapping massacre in Avengers: Infinity War, but it looks like there won't be any room for spoilers in Marvel's highly anticipated promotional video.

Io9 just recently spoke with Kevin Feige about Marvel's marketing for Avengers 4 this weekend, and during the interview, the publication asked whether characters like Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther would show up in the trailers for the sequel to Infinity War.

"No" Fiege answered briefly. "Because he's gone."

The same probably goes for everyone else that Thanos has put an end to – after all, Marvel wouldn't want to give away spoilers. Fans have been assuming that the remaining members of the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy like Iron Man (Tony Stark) and Captain America (Chris Evans) will stop at nothing to bring back the other half of the universe that Thanos wiped out. However, that doesn't mean that the trailer for Avengers 4 will give any major secrets away.

From a certain point of view, it seems like fans are going to get a very different marketing campaign for Avengers 4. Unlike Infinity War which was marketed as a film that brought its Marvel heroes together, Avengers 4 will go with half of the team missing, giving fans a leaner film. Of course, we'll also be getting the characters that sat out Infinity War like Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) and Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) and that's probably going to keep fans satiated.

Avengers: Infinity War is currently screening in cinemas.
