Toy Story 4: Tom Hanks Commemorates His Final Day of Recording for Woody

Disney Pixar has recently gotten into making more sequels and spinoffs, and this June will see the release of Toy Story 4. Woody and the gang will once again be making a return, and Tom Hanks commemorates his last day on working on the movie.

Check out his post:

While it does sound like Hanks is saying goodbye to the character forever, I have a feeling that we'll still be seeing more of Woody down the line. Then again, Hanks himself did say that he got emotional reading the script for this movie. Do we all have to say goodbye to Woody? Or is this just Hanks saying he won't be working on the character for a long while?

At best I think that Toy Story still has two more movies to go. I thought the trilogy has pretty much capped itself perfectly with Toy Story 3, and it may be weird for the franchise to end at 4. Then again, we'll just have to wait and see how this movie does in the box office. Toy Story is what put Pixar on the map after all, so it would make sense that they would want to do their best with whatever entry they bring to the table.

Woody has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that is Bonnie or Andy, but when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called "Forky" to her bedroom, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.

Catch Toy Story 4 in theaters June 21.
