The Toy Story franchise had introduced Bo Peep as the love interest of Woody in the first two films, but she was missing by the time the third movie came around. Bo will be seeing a return in Toy Story 4, and her character seems to be important enough to merit her own poster.

While Bo was admittedly underwritten in the past films, it looks like this sequel is set to give her a lot more character. The dress is gone this time around, and it looks like her stick has seen some action. Some are even making comparisons to Star Wars' new protagonist Rey.
We don't really know how Bo will find herself back in Woody's life. Heck, we don't even know if this is the same Bo that we've been seeing in the past films. For all we know she just comes from the same toyline. It's said that Bo in this movie will be on the quest to find her lost sheep, and she'll be needing the help of Woody, Buzz, and Nuke Kaboom (Keanu Reeves) to find them.
Woody has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that is Bonnie or Andy, but when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called "Forky" to her bedroom, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.
