What is Tomodachi Game About?
The premise of the Tomodachi Game anime revolves around money, trust, and the spirit of friendship. It follows a group of unusual high school students who become entangled in a series of debt repayment games known as "Tomodachi Games," in which they are forced to use psychological warfare in between intellectual games while trying to figure out who is the traitor among them.
The anime follows Yuuichi Katagiri, a high school student, and his circle of friends, who one day receives a mysterious letter from an unknown organization after the money collected for the school trip is lost. With that said, Yuuichi and the others meet up as stated in the letter.
Unfortunately, they are knocked out by unknown assailants and awaken in a mysterious room where a mascot named "Manabu-kun" awaits them.
