Tom Holland's Cherry Teaser Reveals a Different Side of Spider-Man 3 Star

There is little doubt that people are looking forward to any updates on Tom Holland's upcoming projects. Luckily, we now have the first teaser for Cherry and it reveals a completely different side of the Spider-Man 3 star.

The teaser was shared by the Russo Brothers on their official Twitter account. "We'd like to introduce you to Cherry..." the caption reads. Check it out below.

The teaser opens with Holland's mysterious "Cherry" walking into an Armed Forces Career Center where he is interviewed by an officer who doesn't seem very impressed with him. However, Cherry states that he wants to join the Army because he sees what these people can do on the news and it would be better than just feeling sorry for himself after his girlfriend broke up with him.

Interestingly, this makes the officer reconsider his opinion about Cherry, claiming that the boy has a sense of purpose. Amazingly, Cherry is immediately sworn in the next day and although it seems to be going well from there, things with Cherry aren't exactly what they seem.

The synopsis for Cherry reads as follows:

"An Army medic with PTSD becomes addicted to opioids and starts robbing banks to pay for the addiction."

Cherry is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and is based on the novel by Nico Walker. In addition to Holland, the movie also stars Ciara Bravo, Jack Reynor, Michael Rispoli, and Michael Gandolfini. The film will premiere in selected theaters on February 26 before its digital release on Apple TV+ on March 12.
