Tom Holland's Spider-Man 4 Receives Exciting Update

After the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021, there have been questions about what's next for Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the MCU and, most importantly, the future of Marvel Studios' relationship with Sony as they have collaborated on multiple Spider-Man projects in a historic deal.

There have been rumors that Holland has already signed a new deal with Marvel Studios and Sony to continue playing the role and they are already working on a fourth film. However, they remained mum on their official plans regarding the character's future in the MCU.

Now, we finally have a new exciting update on the beloved hero's future in the MCU thanks to the president of Marvel Studios himself, Kevin Feige, in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly when he was asked about the latest development on Spider-Man's next movie in the MCU.

While he played coy with this response, he did reveal that not only they are already working on a fourth film, but they also have a story planned and the writers are currently writing a script.

"All I will say is that we have the story. We have big ideas for that, and our writers are just putting pen to paper now," he said.

This is the first time that Feige publicly acknowledged the development of the fourth Spider-Man film ever since No Way Home was released and, in some ways, also confirmed that Holland's tenure as Spider-Man in the MCU will continue and the Marvel-Sony relationship is still in the cards.

It is certainly exciting to hear that they are confirmed to be working on a fourth Spider-Man movie since we haven't heard any official updates from them prior and now we can look forward to seeing what will happen next on Peter Parker in the MCU after the events of No Way Home.

We should be hearing more news and updates about the project in the coming months as work is currently underway for it.
